Use the following instructions to start a video call in Google Chat on Desktop, or Google Meet on mobile.
[Desktop]
- Go to the website https://chat.google.com/
- Log in using your Lane email address if prompted.
- Click on an existing chat using the column on left, or start a new chat using the "New Chat" button on the upper left corner of the web page.
- Click the video button in the upper right
[Mobile]
- Open the Google Meet app
- Sign in to the app using your Lane email address if prompted.
- Tap the New button to start a new video call
- Select a user to start a one-on-one call, or tap Group Call to invite multiple people.
- If prompted, tap Allow to enable video, audio, and nearby device permissions
- Tap Call to start the call.
