Summary
Some macOS users may see repeated pop-ups requiring a certificate (such as “Mosyle Corporation Enrollment”) or credentials when connecting to LCC WiFi. This happens when the initial connection attempt fails or is incomplete.
Symptoms
- Frequent pop-up requests for WiFi certificate or password
- Pop-up interrupts work by reappearing every few minutes
- Pop-up cannot be dismissed permanently without further action
Cause
This is usually due to an incomplete connection process to LCC WiFi, causing your device to continually try to authenticate.
Resolution (macOS)
- Forget LCC WiFi
- Click the Wi‑Fi icon in the top menu bar.
- Select Wi‑Fi Settings… (or Network Settings).
- Locate LCC WiFi in the network list.
- Click the three-dot icon next to LCC WiFi and choose Forget This Network.
- Reconnect to LCC WiFi
- Select LCC WiFi from the Wi-Fi menu.
- Accept the certificate prompt (Continue or Accept).
- Enter your LCC username and password at the EAP authentication prompt.
- Because of campus WiFi controller age and macOS security, you may need to retry connecting more than once.
You should only see one certificate request after a successful login, and repeated pop-ups should stop.
Additional Notes
- There is a ~5–6 second timeout for authentication attempts.
- If you still see pop-ups after these steps, contact the IT Help Desk for support.
