All new multifunction printers on the Lane Campus employ the Papercut interface. This interface allows for ease of authentication and scan to email capabilities. This guide will explain how to use the scan to email features.
At the initial screen you will be asked for your username and password. At this point you should scan your badge. If this is the first time you've used one of the new MFPs you'll likely be prompted to associate your badge. These are the same credentials you use to access your Lane issued workstation. Your last name first initial matching your email address and your MyLane password.

After you sucessfully enter your credentials, you'll be presented with this screen showing you that you've been sucessful.

Now you can scan your badge again to access the system.

Now load your original in the feeder at the top, face up, or in the flat bed scanner face down. You can load multiple pages into the feeder and the device wills can all pages and put them into one file to email.

Once you're logged in you'll be presented with this screen. To use the scanning feature, press scan.

The PapercutMF system only allows you to scan to the email address associated with your Papercut account. So you will always have a copy of your scans in your email inbox and you can forward them to other if that is your intent.
You will be presented with this screen and the default settings are listed on the right.

If you'd like to change any of the default settings, touch change settings.

Now the settings you can change are shown.

When you have the settings the way you want them, touch start.

At this point the device should have scanned your original. The next screen allows you to add more pages to your scan, or finish to contine.

To add more pages click scan next page, if you're all done press finish.

Once you hit finish you'll be presented with

Moments later you'll recieve the email with attachment in your inbox.
