Self Service Printer Install

You can now install printers without administrative credentials if you are on a domain added machine and have the Papercut Print Deploy Client. 

To check if you are on the domain, go to the yellow file folder icon in your taskbar, RIGHT click on "This PC" and choose properties.  In the Full Device Name line, under Device specifications, if you see your device name with .LCC.lanecc.edu at the end (example 02111-L24171.LCC.lanecc.edu), you are on the domain.

If you see the following green printer icon in your taskbar, you also have the Papercut Print Deploy Client:

Click on this printer icon and choose "view my printers".

The window that opens will first show you all printers you already have installed.

If you don't see the one you're looking for, choose "Add Printers" on the left pane:

You can then either scroll through the list until you find your printer, or put your building number into the search at the top.  Building numbers are put in as P##, so if you're in building one that would be P01, Center is P00, etc. The below example is searching for printers in building one.

Once you find your printer, click on the green "Install" button and it should install itself.
