Accessing LearningExpress Library “How to Build a Resume” Tool

LearningExpress Library helps students and adult learners improve the skills required for academic and career success.”

Getting to LearningExpress

      1.  Visit Lane Community College’s Library page at

  1.  Search Library Website on the left for “learningexpress”
     3.  Choose search result “Learningexpress Library”

     4.  Click on this logo which will bring you to the website

Accessing the Library Database from Off-Campus
   1. Use your L-Number and Password

Registering for an Account

      1. Click “Register” at the top of the screen and enter your student information 

                a.  Enter your LCC email ending in

Resume Building Tool

      1.   Search “resume” in the search bar

      2.  Launch the search result titled “Build Your Resume”

      3.  Click link “+ ADD A RESUME”


      4.  Enter your information into Required Fields

      5.  Choose a resume template or press “skip” to create your own

      6.  Fill in the prompts that apply to you

                a.  This information will make up your resume

      7.  Press “FINISH AND REVIEW” when done to see your resume

      8.  Hold and Drag on sections to move them in your resume

      9.  When done, “SAVE MY RESUME” to keep resume saved on Learning Express

                a.  Press send to email your resume

                b.  Press download to save resume to your computer
