Description: This article is designed to guide a student through Lane's new Titan Print and Web Print system. Everything you need to know about TitanPrint & WebPrintWhat is TitanPrint?TitanPrint is the new printing system put in place on March 7, 2016. All Lane Community College students and staff use it to print and copy documents at the Main Campus. This system is secure and coinless, using a virtual $10 allowance taken from a student's Technology Fee every term. Students can add additional funds to their account by paying online through the online portal, Touchnet, or by buying print “top-up” cards from the Titan Store. Print CentersPrint Centers are located in many buildings on Lane's campus. When a student wants to print a document from (for example) a library computer, that computer will send a request to a queue accessible from any Print Center on campus. The document in queue is only accessible by the L-Number and myLane password of the student who sent the document to print. When a student first arrives at the Print Center, they will walk up to one of the PCs labeled Print Release Station. Here they will be greeted by a Login Screen. After they enter their L-Number and Password, a printing queue will appear with the following information:
When the student selects Print, the document will print to one of the printers in the room. After 4 hours, a student's queue will delete all past requests. This makes sure students' documents are safe, and their queue is clean. What is a TitanPrint Account?Students can login to their TitanPrint account at TitanPrint page by using their L-Number and myLane Password. Tabs located on the left side of the page allow a student to view:
