Staff: Change Preferred Email

Description: Do you want to switch to a staff LaneCC email account but the preferred email fields are locked in ExpressLane? Were you a student and then hired as faculty and want to use your new LaneCC staff email address in Moodle? Did you accidentally set your my.lanecc.edu email as your preferred email in Gsuite?

Staff: Change Your Preferred Moodle Email
Staff members have two email addresses: one which ends in lanecc.edu and one which ends in my.lanecc.edu. While your lanecc.edu is assumed to be your primary email address as a staff member, you may want to change which of your emails is your primary.
Your primary email is where Moodle messages go to, as well as any automated emails from Lane Community College.
Changing Primary Email via ExpressLane
All the changes are saved at this point and preferred will now be set to the email you picked. This change can take normally up to a day to appear in Moodle.
