Metacourses in Moodle

What is a Metacourse?

A metacourse is a parent course which combines two or more sections in Moodle. If you are teaching more than one section of the same course, this allows you to deliver one copy of the course content to all the sections. The child sections handle enrollment, while the parent metacourse handles the content.
