Troubleshooting myLane Account Login Issues


Crater

What do I do if I am having issues logging into my myLane account?

If you are having issues logging into your myLane account the first step to take would be attempting to login to a site called "Crater". You can access this site by going to the Lane Community College website (https://www.lanecc.edu/) and typing "crater" into the search bar on the top right hand corner of the page labeled "Search".

Click on the first link that appears.




From there you will be brought to a login screen where you will type in your L number and password.



Alternatively you can also follow the link, https://crater.lanecc.edu/banp/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin, which will take you to the same login screen where you would input your same information.  

What happens when I attempt to login to Crater?

If you enter your L number and password into the Crater login and login successfully but you can still not login to something else then the issue is with the system. However, if you enter your L number and password into the Crater login correctly and are unable to login to Crater then the issue is with your account.

If you cannot login you can try clicking "Forgot Password?" follow those steps and then reset your password (you can use the same password that you already have).  It will take about 30 mins for all the systems to sync up but then you can retry login into Crater, and myLane to see if that solved the problem.
