<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: large;">Directions and Information about setting up Proxy users on a Groupwise Account</span><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: small;">Information: </span></strong>Proxy lets you perform various actions, such as reading, accepting, and  declining items on behalf of another user, within the restrictions the  other user sets. As a proxy user, you do not need the mailbox owner&rsquo;s  password because the mailbox owner grants you the access rights he or  she wants you to have in the mailbox. There is currently no limit to the  number of proxy accounts you can allow or manage.</p>

<div>Are you trying to get an account for the MyLane system, or do you already  have an account, but need a new pin for it?</div>
<br />NEW ACCOUNT<ol>
<li>If you want to get an account, you need to apply to Lane as described here:  <a href="http://lanecc.edu/counseling/steps-enroll">http://lanecc.edu/counseling/steps-enroll.</a></li>
<li>If you are a newly hired contractor or employee, you will receive your L# and password from your department.</li>
</ol>EXISTING ACCOUNT<ol>
<li>If you already have an account, but have forgotten your pin, go here: <a href="http://help.lanecc.edu/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/258">http://help.lanecc.edu/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/258.</a> </li>
<li>If you have an account, but have not logged in for a long time,  call  541-463-3000 and ask the campus operator to reset your pin for  you.</li>
<li>If you are a contractor or employee of Lane, call Human Resources at 541-463-5586to get your pin reset.</li>

<p>Atude event requests are "pending" until approved by an ATC student worker.&nbsp; Checking the <strong>Draft</strong> link in Atude needs to be completed every day and is on the ATC Daily Checklist.&nbsp;</p>
<h3>How to Approve Draft Events</h3>
<ol>
<li>Log into <a href="http://pln.lanecc.net/atude/locations/academic-technology-center-atc/">Atude</a>.&nbsp; (The log in information is on the ATC Wiki)</li>
<li>Click <strong>Events.</strong> Location: left sidebar</li>
<li>Click <strong>Draft</strong>(s) to view a list of events to <strong>review </strong>and . Location: top of page only if there are drafts pending.</li>
<li>Events need to be reviewed before <strong>publishing:</strong></li>
</ol> 
<ul>
<li>Is the event information complete?&nbsp; Title, location, date, time, not a duplicate...</li>
<li>If the event is in the ATC room availability must be confirmed by reviewing <a href="http://pln.lanecc.net/atude/locations/academic-technology-center-atc/">all events in the ATC</a>. (currently requires page refresh ctrl+r) </li>
<li>Notify the requester if the LCC02 121 is NOT available.</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 5.&nbsp; <strong>Edit </strong>the event and click <strong>Publish</strong>.]]></content:encoded>
