Welcome to the Student Help Desk (SHeD) Online Support Center!

Welcome, at the Lane CC Student help desk you may seek out solutions to issues involving Moodle, MyLane, and other technical issues you may be facing as a student at Lane. We have many resources to help you find solutions to any of your technical problems.

  • First, you can check the "Knowledgebase" to find articles giving answers to common questions.
  • If you want immediate help, click the "Live Support" link on the left side of this page to chat with a SHeD Representative.  We are available from 8AM - 5PM every work day.
  • If we are not available, or if you need additional help, you can register with us above and "Submit a Ticket".  We will refer your ticket to the right person and track it to make sure your issue gets resolved.
  • If you want to talk to us in person, drop in room 122 on the first floor of building 2.
  • If you want to call us, our number is (541) 463-3333.

The Student Help Desk has lots of good tech-support materials for Lane students. Instead of expending your time and energy developing how-to guides or teaching tech to your students, just introduce them to the materials below: Please encourage your students to visit us at for live chat, searchable knowledgebase, and help tickets.
